Success!

I quit the wheel and have successfully created two bookends for the baby's room in pottery class. Although they look like one of my 5th grade art projects (see picture to the right), I'm so happy and can't wait to glaze and fire them next week. Freeing myself from the constraints of the wheel and just slapping around some clay felt so good. In other news, Angus is turning into quite the potter. Glad one of us can supply our cabinet with soup bowls.
